The public dollars flowing through the aging services network in the United States total approximately $330 billion. It is a major industry replete with complicated and dynamic funding, policy and procedural issues, and federal, state, and local government and private entities and individuals. (See acronyms.) In this chapter, we will explore those most relevant to the arts and aging field.
